Privacy Policy for Bodo Okhrang, OkhranGPT, OkhranGTR, and OCR services.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Bodo Okhrang platform, including the Bodookhrang website, the OkhranGPT assistant experience, the OkhranGTR translation experience, OCR-related workflows, connected mobile wrappers, and associated support surfaces operated by BODOOKHRANG TECH PRIVATE LIMITED.

For the purposes of this policy, “Bodo Okhrang,” “Bodookhrang,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to BODOOKHRANG TECH PRIVATE LIMITED. If you have a privacy question, need support, or want to submit a data rights request, you may contact us at bodookhrang@gmail.com.

This policy is intended to function as the public privacy notice for users, store reviewers, and platform partners. It is written to align with the Google Play requirement that an app privacy policy clearly explain what data is accessed, collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted.

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect account and profile information such as your email address, authentication identifiers, display name, username, avatar URL, language preference, and session state. If you sign in with Google, authentication is handled through Google OAuth and Supabase authentication services.

We may collect user content that you intentionally provide to the platform. This can include prompts, chat messages, translated text, OCR uploads, extracted text, feedback, bookmarks, support requests, and settings you save inside the product.

We may also collect technical and operational information needed to run the service securely and reliably, such as IP-derived network information, browser or device characteristics, app usage events, timestamps, error logs, security logs, and performance metrics. On some parts of the product, we may store local preferences in browser storage, such as language selection or cached marketing translations.

If advertising inventory is displayed in the product, advertising-related technical data may also be processed by the relevant ad service in accordance with that provider’s policies.

We use personal data to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide access to OkhranGPT, OkhranGTR, and OCR workflows, store conversation and translation history where the product offers that functionality, and maintain your saved preferences.

We also use information to operate and improve the service, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, investigate misuse, monitor platform health, support moderation and security controls, respond to support requests, and maintain compliance with legal, platform, and contractual obligations.

When you submit prompts, text, or files to AI, translation, or OCR workflows, that content may be transmitted to the relevant processing services strictly to generate the requested output, improve reliability, or complete the operation you initiated.

OkhranGPT may process the text you submit in order to generate AI-assisted responses, perform prompt handling, produce titles, and support search-assisted flows when those features are enabled by the product.

OkhranGTR may process source text, target text, language selections, and translation history to generate multilingual output and let authenticated users review, pin, rename, or delete prior translations.

OCR workflows may process uploaded images or PDF files and the extracted text content needed to digitize and restore Bodo-language materials. Uploaded materials are handled for the purpose of OCR processing, result generation, and related troubleshooting or abuse prevention when reasonably necessary.

We do not describe user data as being sold. We may share data with processors and infrastructure providers when needed to deliver the service you requested. Based on the current product architecture, this may include self-hosted Supabase services for authentication and database operations, Google for OAuth authentication and Gemini-related model services, Sarvam AI for model operations, Bhashini for translation, OCR processing services for document recognition, Cloudflare R2 or similar storage infrastructure for assets or user uploads, and hosting or VPS infrastructure used to run the platform.

We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, enforceable governmental request, platform review, protection of rights and safety, fraud prevention, or investigation of service abuse.

If third-party SDKs, APIs, or processors are used, their handling of information connected to this app must also comply with applicable platform policies. Where relevant, Google Play Data safety disclosures should remain consistent with this policy.

We use cookies, authentication tokens, and similar technologies where required to sign users in, preserve sessions, keep the website secure, remember preferences, and support normal product operation. Some marketing pages may also use local browser storage to remember language preferences or cache translated marketing copy.

If advertising or analytics tools are enabled in a given experience, those services may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies in accordance with their own documentation and applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include authentication controls, administrative access restrictions, encrypted transport, environment-based secrets management, server-side checks, and operational logging for abuse prevention and incident review.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for using the service through trusted devices and networks.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account functionality, preserve user-requested history features, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain backup or security integrity.

Conversation history, translation history, bookmarks, and similar records may remain associated with your account until you delete them in-product, request deletion, or your account is removed, subject to legal, security, backup, and abuse-prevention exceptions. Security logs and operational records may be retained longer when required for incident response, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or platform protection.

If you request account deletion, we will review and process the request in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements. Some residual copies may persist temporarily in backups or protected logs until those systems naturally rotate or are safely overwritten.

If you created a Bodo Okhrang account, you may request deletion of that account and associated user data by visiting our public deletion page or by contacting support. Our current public deletion resource is available at /account-deletion on this website.

You may also email bodookhrang@gmail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address associated with your account. We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a deletion request to protect account security.

Deleting an account may remove access to chat history, saved translations, bookmarks, and other account-linked records, subject to any data we must retain for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or security integrity.

Bodo Okhrang is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in a way that should not have occurred, please contact bodookhrang@gmail.com so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Because our infrastructure and service providers may operate in multiple jurisdictions, information may be processed or accessed in locations different from your own. By using the service, you understand that data may be handled across infrastructure used to deliver authentication, hosting, storage, AI processing, translation, OCR, and support operations.

Depending on your location and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. You may also have rights relating to consent withdrawal where consent is the basis for processing.
